Where do you find inspiration?
Inspired by an Earth friendly perspective, each item in The Green Lizard’s Etsy Shop is created with the concept of "tread lightly" in mind. Sewing gives The Green Lizard an outlet for her creative side, and she loves combining that with her passion for the environment.
The Green Lizard's eco friendly items are made with vintage, organic, and sustainable fabrics.

Hello! Can you present yourself?
My name is Rebecca and I love all things colorful and yarn related. My Nana taught me to knit and crochet as a young girl, and it has become somewhat of an obsession of mine. When I'm not crocheting you can find me knitting, and when I'm not knitting you can find me crocheting!

What can we find in your shop?
My shop is stocked with bright, cheerful and affordable little luxuries including hand-crocheted face cloths and dish cloths. One of my most popular items are my face scrubbies. These are really cute stacked on your bathroom sink, and are a great way to take off your make up and use all of your fun lotions and potions.

What is your favorite material to work with?
All of the items in my shop are 100% cotton, so I would have to say cotton yarn in bright colors is what I love to work with the best.

Where do you find inspiration?
Inspiration is everywhere if you just take the time to look.

Hello! Can you present yourself?
I am a self professed fiber fanatic! I have been knitting, crocheting, and just generally playing with fiber since I was 2. My granny was a great teacher!

What can we find in your shop?
A unique mix of handspun and handpainted yarns! I specialize in handspun organic cotton, and have just started a line of dye to order handspun yarns. I also occasionally will have some recycled luxury yarns in my shop.... redyed and reincarnated into something new and special.

What is your favorite material to work with?
SILK!!!! I love the feel, the smell, the sheen. I just love silk!

Where do you find inspiration?
Everywhere! Especially my garden. I grow and collect rare and unusual Coleus, which are by far the most colorful plant I know of. I Colors are my inspiration!

What is your favorite material to work with?
I normally like working with bright colored beads that rally stand out!

Where do you find inspiration?
I find my inspiration from other people here on etsy. A lot of people on etsy have true talent and it inspires me to try my best and never give up!

I've selected my first "Seller of the week". That's Dongedyframes! She's a French photographer and her work is simply wonderful and amazing. Just look!

 

Hello! Can you present yourself?
I'm a photographer. I'm 37 years old, a woman with a husband and 2 cute daughters. I'm french and living in France, 50km away from Paris (close enough to benefit from its cultural lights, and far enough to live in an old house made of stone, near the forest :)

What can we find in your shop?
You can find many photos. On one hand, there are many photos of nature, horses, places... most of them have been textured to emphasise feelings and emotions. On the other hand, you'll find many humorous photos with tiny people.

What is your favorite material to work with?
As a "raw material", I use tiny people created for train dioramas (Ho scale). Associating them with everyday things, I can create surreal scenes... My favorite tools are my camera (a Canon Powershot G9) and my computer (imac + photoshop).

Where do you find inspiration?
Everywhere. Part of my job consists in having a new look to items all around me. On my desk, in my kitchen, in shops : i'm always wondering whether this USB key, this teapot or that fork could match minipeoples to create new photos.
I like to quote Einstein who was saying "Imagination is more important than knowledge". I think it's true cause imagination has no limit ...
